Rigid Plastics

Rigid plastics are taken to Vancouver. From there they are sold to recycling markets abroad. The needs of the market change over time, and BIRD has to fit in with those needs. This means that BIRD may be unable to recycle certain kinds of plastics from time to time. BIRD does it's best to find new and better markets if there are problems, but that is not always possible. If unwanted plastics get into the mix, the entire load may be rejected, and the whole lot could end up in landfill.
