UPDATED GARBAGE COLLECTION GUIDELINES
General guidelines:
 
  • All containers must be curbside by 8am.
  • All containers must display your civic address, either by sticker or written on the can.
  • Only bungee cords may be used to secure the can.
  • All containers must have lids.
  • All containers may weigh a maximum of 40lbs, as per WCB regulations.
  • All second cans must display second can decals or single use decals.
  • All garbage must be bagged and secured.
  • All containers must be removed from curbside by end of service day, as per municipal regulations.
 
FREE GARBAGE IDENTIFICATION STICKERS!
Need a sticker for your garbage can. Come to BIRD and the staff will give you a sticker (or two) for free!

A FRIENDLY REMINDER
Please, do not place any paint, hazardous waste, or recycling in the garbage!
